Hi! I’m Olive Mood. On this blog, expect my “Goonies” time-travel story through my budding young adulthood to the professional world. Stories that are the backdrop for how I was taught to discredit my intuition and dreams. I call these my “sugar stories” because sweetness and innocence are a private matter once you enter the career arena and “adulting”, especially when you identify as female. I share my stories to help the brown girl out there navigating the  treacherous terrain of modern American society while keeping a firm grip on the lock and key of her heart.
